"'I saw seven angels carrying the seven wills of the god, and seven seals opening, and weakening'," said the golden-eyed young man, with his equally golden wings that left delicate-looking feathers as he walked.

He approached the one on the floor, touching his face, breathing into it. The air smelled sweet, but... the fingers on his face smelled suspiciously of blood, clean as they were.

Who is this person? And why did he act so familiar? Seem so familiar?

"Do you want to know what happens next?" the angel- there was no other word to describe him despite the air of danger- asked him.

He nodded- how else would he answer? He was curious. He wanted to know the rest of this person's strange story, even though something at the back of his head was uncomfortable with everything.

"'As I watched, the seven angels opened their hands, spread their wings, and released seven plagues upon the world- seven dragons that roared'," the angel said, voice low and dramatic, smiling as he watched the attention being given to him. "'The seven dragons spread to every end of the world, and the seven seals shattered. And with the shattering of the seals, the world began to crumble and die.'

"'The earthquakes were unavoidable. The fires were unstoppable. Blood flowed, people died. The seven makers of the seven seals watched in despair. And the seven angels stood in the midst of the end of the world, and were pleased.'

"What do you think- does it make for a good bedtime story?"

He opened his mouth to speak, but it was dry. He was shaken. What kind of story was that? How could this person be so cheerful about this kind of thing? The destruction of the world... it wasn't something to be happy about! Unless he was...

The angel grinned at him, as if he had read his mind. He leaned in, pulling the boy close until they were pressed together, body to body. He froze. Being this close to this person- it was both unsettling and yet familiar. The angel whispered in his ear, "I'm one of the seven angels. I led the seven angels. I own them, just as I own you- you're my personal angel.

"Remember me by these marks. I gave them to you myself." Fingers stroked his hands.
